However, the amount of STCs that you can generate for kilowatt of solar you install decreases each year. For example, installs next year will get less STCs than the same size to install this year.
Solar VIC Rebates
Households earning up to $210,000 are now eligible, up from the previous $180,000 cap.
The offerings include:
- A $1,400 panel rebate, an equivalent interest-free panel loan;
- An $8,800 interest-free battery loan, and;
- A new $1,000 heat pump rebate.
If you’ve already claimed a Solar VIC panel or heat pump rebate, you’re now also eligible to access the new battery loan.
